Ellis College of NYIT, a Leading Accredited Online College, Offers Tuition Discounts to Sworn Officers, Security Professionals and Their Spouses.
Stamford, CT, May 1, 2007: Ellis College of NYIT, a fully-accredited online college for working professionals, has launched a new tuition discount program to benefit active and retired sworn officers - including those in the law enforcement, corrections, probation and parole disciplines—and security professionals. Under this new program, eligible federal, state, county and local officers, security professionals and their spouses in the United States and abroad can receive the following discounts at Ellis College:
- 20% Tuition Discount - Active, full time sworn officers & security professionals.
- 15% Tuition Discount - Retired sworn officers & security professionals with 10+ years of honorable service.
- 15% Tuition Discount - Spouses of eligible active personnel.
- 10% Tuition Discount - Spouses of eligible retired personnel.
In March 2007, Ellis College of NYIT launched a similar program to provide discounted tuition to active, retired and veteran military personnel.
